First Time in College Degree-Seeking Student:
If the American College of Applied science is your first choice the steps you'll need to take to become a student are:
  1. Fill out & submit the onlne Admissions Form;
  2. Submit an official high school transcript or General Equivalency Diploma (GED);
  3. Take the MAT test;
  4. After submitting those two items, you'll receive an acceptance letter, if you meet the College's admissions criteria;
  5. If you are interested in receiving financial aid, visit the financial aid services page;
  6. During the appropriate registration period register for the courses you plan to take (don't forget to check for any prerequisites!).

Incoming Transfer Student:
If you have earned college credit at another college or university prior to seeking admission to ACAS, then you are considered a transfer student. As a transfer student, follow these steps:

  1. Fill out & submit the online Admissions Form;
  2. Submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities you've attended;
  3. Take the MAT test;
  4. After submitting those three items, you'll receive an acceptance letter, if you meet the College's admissions criteria;
  5. If you are interested in receiving financial aid, visit the financial aid services page;
  6. During the appropriate registration period register for the courses you plan to take (don't forget to check for any prerequisites!).

International Students:
If attending ACAS as an international student, then follow these steps towards admission. You must submit:

  1. Fill out & submit the online Admissions Form;
  2. Proof of previous education (English translation and native language)
  3. TOEFL score of 460 or higher (paper test) or 140 or higher (computer test), is required.
  4. After submitting those three items, you'll receive an acceptance letter, if you meet the College's admissions criteria;
  5. If you are interested in receiving financial aid, visit the financial aid services page;
  6. During the appropriate registration period register for the courses you plan to take (don't forget to check for any prerequisites!).
