Goals Essay Requirements
Your goals essay is an important part of your admissions application for all
degree programs at ACAS. It should be an original work written by the
prospective student that contains statements that demonstrate clear
direction and purpose based on experience and planning. It should describe
the prospective student's academic and professional goals. The essay should
be a minimum of 500 words in length, not to exceed 1000 words. The
prospective student's writing skills demonstrated in this essay are
considered as part of the program admission decision. Applications for
admission are not reviewed until a goals essay is received when required.
Goals essays are accepted by email attachment only.
Your goals essay must be titled, dated and include your Full Name, address, city, state/province, zip code, country, phone number and title of the program in which you wish to enroll.
Your essay file MUST be named: lastnamefirstnameLAST4DIGITSOFYOURSSN.(extension)
STEPS:
- Go to your email program or web based email
- open a new message or compose message window
- enter admissions@amcollege.com in the To field
- enter New Goals Essay SUBMISSION in the Subject field
- attach your essay
- in the body of the message:
list the following:
Full Name, postal address, phone & program.
