Bachelors Degree Entrance Requirements:

The bachelor's degree is a senior level program. This means that applicants must have completed at least 60 credits or an Associates level degree at an accredited college.

All students
1. be 18 years of age or older or have written permission from a parent or legal guardian to enroll in a college program and register for classes, and must attest to their age as part of the enrollment agreement.
2. complete an admissions application with goals essay.
3. complete an Enrollment Agreement for each attending semester

Unconditional Admission

    1. Applicants who have completed an associate’s or higher degree with minimum overall grade point average of 2.5 (4.0 scale) or 3.0 grade point average from an accredited college or university will be admitted unconditionally. No test score is required. An official transcript showing completion of an associate’s or higher is required. Students with an Associate’s degree from an unaccredited institution should see Admission from Unaccredited Institutions.
    2. Completion of the ACAS admissions application

Conditional Admission

    1. Applicants must have completed an associate’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
    2. Students not satisfying the Unconditional Admission requirements may be conditionally admitted to the program pending satisfactory completion of the first 6 semester hours with a 3.0 grade point average.
    3. Students not satisfying conditional admission requirements will be dropped from the program for one calendar year at which time the student must petition for readmission.

Admission from Unaccredited Institutions
Students seeking admission to ACAS who have received their degree from an institution not recognized and accredited by one of the regional accrediting agencies must be approved for admission by the Dean of the school. The following materials must be submitted to the Admissions Office thirty days in advance of the initial enrollment:

    1. an application for admission.
    2. an official transcript and a transcript from all schools at which the student has completed courses.
    3. Students are also required to submit the following in addition to an official transcript:
    • course syllabi
    • faculty credentials
    • grading standards
    • a school catalogue
